Quiet day Tuesday, but due to short attendance hours only finished about 20 minutes before time. Busier on Wednesday. More packets and DSA. Cooler and even got a bit of light rain.

Tough day, none of my fitting sorted as I arrived in despite being part time.
Out for 10, back for after 2pm with the lapsing. Will not be giving them 1 minute from now on, stuff them. You give them a yard they take a mile.

Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Less things to knock for, packets etc? I always find that a real help.krussel wrote:I had one of the best sats in a long time. Back to the office by 11.50am which for my duty is very good![]()

Yeah could be but it felt very average mail wise for a sat and still had a full drop bag and half a dozen overweights. I even took it steady as ive been getting some pain in my hip when i push it so i was quite surprised to finished as early as i did. Wierdheapsy wrote:Less things to knock for, packets etc? Re: The "How was your day" thread.
The majority of walks that I have covered recently have been just managable on a Monday and Tuesday.
For the rest of the week I have been between 1 and 1 and a half hours over my time.
I can see why the duties have been calculated like this - RM want me to work my time.
I have no problem with this. However, on the heavier days I will go over my time unless I cut off.
This is in the quieter time of year.
I am not looking forward to the busier times, especially with up to 6 ? d2d and I'm sure even more packets than last year.
Oh, and I almost forgot the lapsing which we all have plenty of time to do.

I hope there are not more packets than last year, I am still recovering from those bleeding bulbs, and we had smoke alarms for most houses.bertie wrote: I am not looking forward to the busier times, especially with up to 6 ? d2d and I'm sure even more packets than last year.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Back to normal today 3hr 30min walk then 25 mins lapsing. With all the driving took 4hrs 20 min in total.
We got hit with Saga and huge Viking mags which made it quite heavy for a Monday. Plus a row of 4 lots of d2d on top but at least they are light.
Great weather though not too hot but sunny

3 hrs and 10 mins. Gaps everywhere. Packets were heavier than usual for Tuesday. Bright sunny day.
