Pay back time today. Mainly DSA. At least it was dry if a bit chilly. The lads who will be running the machines had a problem today when they did a practice run. The machines showed a software error, and guess what? No contact number left to get in touch with the engineers. :nana

Cr@p day! Snow and rain, then rain and snow. Had a customer running down the road shouting at me and holding in his hand...wait for it....a revenue protection notice :arrrghhh through all my explaining he STILL didn't believe I'm not supposed to take the bloody thing out on delivery. How much of a headfuck would it be if they let us take money off customers??!

We used to collect money off the customers for underpaid items and COD's, thank goodness we don't anymore as we would probably get mugged everyday.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Well with all the finger pointing and blame culture in RM the last thing I want to be doing is carrying money!

Simply horrendous. Loads, and I really do mean loads of DSA. Every house is to get at least 1 item from the NHS. Most have 2 or three as they were addressed individually. 2 days to clear these so I took all the ones where I was going. Approximately 8 or 9 boxes. Left another half to 2 thirds of a box under the frame until tomorrow. On top of this we had the water rates posting, another 2 boxes or so, plus the usual daily shite. Fortunately for me, and most unusually too, I didn't have as many packets as I normally do for a Thursday. Took around 4 hours 10 mins and only stopped to get the recorded items signed for. I was very lucky today that I didn't have much to card, only 1 item today which helped me make up some time. Can't wait for the weekend, I'm off. :Very Happy

Much better than yesterday. I took all the NHS posting where I was going. Today I only had about half a tray left. Made the job much easier, plenty still in the office as I went out the door. Cannot understand why people made it harder for themselves by leaving stuff over until today. Sunny day and its getting warmer, Spring is on the way! :chuckle Weekend off so I'll be in the Legh for a few well earned pints.

Shortest delivery ever for me on Tuesday. 2 hrs 58 minutes from first letter to pouching off. Unbelievable! Had a box sequenced Tuesday. Much easier than usual.
Today, 4 hrs. Mainly DSA. Flats were on the light side for a change.

Heavy today. They've started sequencing some boxes for us now, although we are not officially on line yet. Got to within 10 minutes of the end and it poured down.

Did anyone get the NHS postings today and what was the message from the DIM about how much you had to take,

First ours was two days to be finished by tomorrow(SAT) after we complained it has now gone to Monday along with sky mags and they predict falling mail :arrrghhh

8 Bags and only half NHS got done, Normally have 5 bags. If you have not got them then they are for each person that lives in the house and not per household :arrrghhh
