I couldn't say if the revisions are suspended but i can say that those fully integrated revisions in our area that have gone in are having a full overhaul including a change to the model week.

We've had a couple more duties put back in. But instead of actually putting proper duties together they are basically a mish mash of everything that is too much on the some of the other duties. They are driving duties and the postie is going from round to round delivering the stuff that the others don't have time for. All this because they can't be bothered to sit down and work out the rounds properly again.
This is a good one - apparently after we have a TT revision some of the guys with the CDV's will be calling back to the office to mop up any late mail and missorts.
So not only is our P&L revision in ruins it now looks like the second delivery is returning in all but name. Modernisation, it's it's the way forward I tell you

We've been told our revision is cancelled until next year because they couldn't save any hours with it. So we'll just have to go on crippling our backs until then.
we had the talk today - its not that revision has been cancelled....its just that it will be an in-office revision as the RM revision plans are screwing up any offices where they have been implemented. we can have £200 if we bring in later starts (7am) asap

Sounds about par for the course, we went into full DM Revision November 8th last year, had a shitty christmas and STILL haven't had the £200 AND will be going into WSM revision in another 4 weeks and so I am pretty confident we won't get that either.

I can see why some would want to keep the status quo (because they are arseholes)- but why would the CWU want to take part in these ttrs?

If there are genuine savings to be had and there are say 7 vacancies which is the figure at my D.O then whats the harm? We all want the right amount of duties and jobs needed to make the delivery office work so would that not work both ways?
Oh yes. They'll bung us £200. Where do we sign? Some revisons show a need for more hours some (most of them it seems)show a need for less. If less hours is unrealistic then the CWU need to try and get RML to drop the savings whilst carrying on with any nesscary operational changes the do not involve savings. That then gets £200 released for the mbrs, which after all is for a revision not a savings plan.
