Is that the only two options in Royal Mail?
Butt kisser or lazy arse...
Are they even mutually exclusive?
In my experience some of the biggest butt kissers are the laziest in the office.

One thing to remember is putting the hours in is not the same as putting the work in.
I could do 70 hrs a week and do less work than a 25 hr part-timer.

The rest of the overtime backpay is lumped together presumably as they ran out of room to list all the weeks individually.
Look for where is says 'arrears of weekday'

Relatively small amount of extra money in return for giving a yes vote and suffering the consequences. Just glad I didn't vote yes .

I am a P/T. Apart from my Basic pay of 25 hours, there is Arrears of Basic pay which is approx £452
Very confused.
I'm on 30 hours and my arrears of Basic Pay is only £432!!

I am 30 hours and the arrears for me was £432. Anyone made up to full time for Christmas will have a higher arrears than someone remaining on their standard contracted hours because they will have arrears for that period.

The amount I got was around the figure I was expecting, but the working outs on the pay slip make no sense of how they got to it.

Mine appears correct despite the lack of mentioning all weeks from April. Mine also had a negative £60 figure on there. I've seen HR use negatives before at other companies due to their systems not being ideal for the job.

I just did what others had said, take total yearly earnings minus this week and bonuses, then times by 0.027. This will equal what we are owed.

Happy to get this. RM won't be any better or worse regardless of the vote outcome. RM just gonna RM.
