Whens yor finishing time? What do you think will happen when your done an hour or more early every day WITH the extra 60 calls?

Thats right - more extra calls

:arrrghhh
Why am i in the wrong? i want to work all my hours and get the extra ( that the round can easily take ) done. My partner wants to artificially slow me down so they can get out of extra work? Surely its the lazy twat thats in the wrong?
How is he slowing you down if you want to work all your hours?

You want to finish early thats the problem - not work all your hours.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Let me get this straight in my head.

At the moment you finish on your time.

You believe if your partner worked faster you could do more work and still finish on your time.

So...
What's in it for you and bear in mind some of us have been doing this job for a long time so don't throw in bullshit like job satisfaction or personal fulfillment.

Why do you want to do more work for the same money?

Nope. :Very Happy
At the moment we finish an hour early, BUT, no breaks are taken.
Im happy to work up till time or even a little over, however now extra has been added to take us up to time my partner NOW wants to work to rule and take breaks which is fine there would still be time to do the extra 99% of the time, but they constantly argue about taking it, whereas im not bothered id just sooner take it and book docket if necessary.

There's your problem. Whoever looks at the PDA Actuals has often seen you finishing an hour early so has decided that there's scope to add an hours worth of work to the walks

Jesus wept :arrrghhh :chuckle

You'd rather take on extra work than take the breaks you are both entitled to to fill the gap

I cannot believe you are serious, you cant be

leolion is a management plant, imho. I cry "foul" and disregard your pointless, bigoted post.

Get a grip and learn to turn the other cheek. It is your doing/fault that has been revealed and the grievance is not worth airing even informally with partner or on here.

A van share should be worked at a mutually agreeable pace...and if you are quicker then share the remainder and take the correct break(s)...alternatively, you could do all the lapsing on your own if you think it can be done on top of normal workload. good luck with that, pal :cuppa

I just can't make much sense of his point.
He was finishing early because they were running about.
Management threatened them with more work.
His partner wised up and slowed down so no extra work.
His partner's the idiot in this scenario?

If it's just a wind up it's dull, if it's for real I'm sure there's some kind of therapy available somewhere.

No not management to clever for that, ive just worked in lots of other industries where you work all your time and overtime can be called and enforced even if your just going out the door, so an extra 10 minutes work each really dont faze me. The bit that bothers me is the partner purposely going slower so it looks like there int time to do it.
