So the DOM has managed to get rid of a week's leave in the office (which someone else might be needing or you could have used later)
but at a cost of the OT to his budget.

How much lapsing/absorption has everybody else in the office had to do to save him enough dosh in his OT budget to do this?

Anyhow, it is a fact you are at work OR on leave. I think he will let you do the work and worry about fiddling the books later......and if it can't be done prepare for a big roll of laughter from DOM..

Yeah it can be done and is done frequently. I know people who have carried over so many weeks leave over the years one guy had 10.5 week leave accumulated. He decided to book 6 weeks and work the other 4.5 weeks so got paid 40+ hours overtime each week. Maximum overtime was 30 hours per week so carried the 10+ over to the following week. This meant if he didn’t do any overtime the following week he still got his 10 hours overtime paid from the week before

Employees may not attend the office whilst on annual or other leave. This means that employees may not attend the office to work overtime or Scheduled Attendance.

And some people will still not believe. people cant get leave regulary yet some want to work annual leave f--king crazy

sad really happened in our office we have a few sad people who come in on holiday . think its wrong because some of the posties who needed that week off couldn't get it and the sad people with no life our coming in working . should just do what I do when they come in call them sad and get a life and soon gets to them then the hissing comes into it then B AND H come into mind

So you’re admitting you’re a bully? Thats nice. If you think people working for double pay is sad then your opinion should be kept to yourself.

no al just say it to there face thanks been in the job to long to care now no one does the job properly and no one is arsed I do the job properly take me break start at the correct time cut off at the correct time if I cant complete etc and don't come in on double pay ??? never heard that one before why is it £22 pound an hour now for coming in on leave ??

Sure, not certain, that PSP will not accept any ot being entered onto,system if you are down as annual leave. If this IS the case your DOM will promise you the earth knowing full well that they won’t be able to pay your hours until,the week after so you’ll wait yet another week for your payment....... they aren’t doing you any favours just getting what they need to cover themselves
