Advice needed 24hr contact just doesn't work

Sorry to hear what you are going through Nicky.

All you want to do is make a fresh start and get on with your job and its disgraceful the situation you have been put in and having to deal with these scumbags as well.

Sadly, there are many others in the same boat in RM who are having their working lives made unbearable through no fault of their own.

I hope you get something sorted out, but even if you quit the job you may well be able to get certain benefits due to your PTSD and armed forces background. ESA support group and PIP are 2 of these benefits. You would need a sicknote from your doctor to get on the assessment phase to start with and would then need to meet certain DWP assessment criteria but if you got it you would have financial security and peace of mind.

I wish you well, whatever you decide to do.

What's wrong with that? You've done the right thing for going off sick. You need to protect yourself!

Also, when you go to occupational health or speak to them. They should be making reasonable adjustments because of your mental health. Make sure you write down what you want to discuss.

Also, use this 4 week as a good reason to look around for alternative work.
