We have had 2 tier pensions for the last 7 years haven't we?
Where were the f/t staff when their p/t colleagues got put on an inferior pension scheme?
Not on the gate that is for sure.

And the union isn't trying to get the "new lads" on the same pension as you or me.
It is trying to negotiate an inferior version of our pension for everybody.
All that is left to decide is how inferior.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
