still asking for your opinion of this given your stance labour is worse on the economy than conservatives?
I don't care what the labour or Tories did 70 years ago what the hell has that got to do with anything it's irrelevant. Go back far enough and you can find anything to back up an argument. I had a discussion with a Spurs supporter the other day who was going on about how they always beat WHU, but over the last ten years it was fairly even!

Please carry on arguing if you like, I think your full of it and no doubt you think the same of me. My votes with the Tories and they'll get in the same way Sadiq Khan and Donald Trump got in. Not because they were what people wanted but because they were not quite as bad as the alternatives.

For the poster about ending the fox hunting ban I think it's appalling but I'm not going to vote for a party just because they'll be nicer to foxes!

Anyone voting Labour because they offered up renationalisation ask yourself how this will improve anything with RM at all. Was working for RM any better before privatisation or were we still being beaten with a stick just by a different master?
you didn't read the link did you? Nothing about 70 years ago rather it is the record of the Labour Party and the Conservative Party's borrowing and repaying over the last 70 years - let me save you some time the conservatives borrowed more than Labour and paid back less than Labour - blows your Labour is worse with money argument out the water somewhat - damn those facts!

Seriously I hope you put more effort into your research into who to vote for than you did that link otherwise you would be voting without knowing all the facts - surely you wouldn't do that would you?
Oh I read it, now find me one with fax and figures over something more relevant, like the last 20 years and only the last 20 years maybe?

I know the facts, do you? Are you going to base your vote on what labour/Tory governments did last century?

Ok gone enough I could spend the rest of my life in this argument and I have to go kill some foxes whilst driving my Jag and sipping my champagne!

you realise the last 70 years covers the last 20 years yes? will you ever be able to admit your presumed media driven facts were wrong?

It takes a big man to admit it - once you do then we can a reasoned debate - you still haven't told me which Tory policies you agree with and which Labour you disagree with enough to make you, a working man vote Conservative

Oh will you stop dragging me back here ffs lol!

Very good yes 70 years does include the last 20 but unfortunately it doesn't break it down to see what the parties did in just the last 20 years or will you base your next vote on something Labour may have done after WW2?

I don't agree with all Tory policies but I do like the idea that they will try and protect workers pensions (something I think all of us in RM can relate too!) I also think May will be far better a candidate to negotiate Brexit!

Right enjoy your vote Fedup, I really need to move on! :cuppa

no bed for you! protect pensions don't make me laugh!

Only labour will commit to the triple lock on pensions - the best the tories can do is a we 'might' do a double lock

seriously you seem like a decent bloke, please do some research and look at what they will do - the only pensions they will protect are their own

and can you hand on heart tell me that TM who will not debate with ONE man JC - can be trusted to hold meetings with 27 other countries on brexit - the last one she held they thought she was weak and told her the EU was not like her local golf club - please do some research!

Bleuuuch! I'm sure I tasted some vomit in my gob just then.. Anyway-

Two things there; doing or not doing TV debates doesn't mean she's a good or bad negotiator, it goes deeper than that, and who cares what "they" thought (real or alleged) about her? There's propaganda coming from all sides and mischief-making journo's adding their take too, so why pay any heed to what the "opposition" say, unless of course you want to believe it to affirm your pre-existing beliefs?

For any working man/woman, it has to be Labour, surely?
For the many, not the few.

Problem there is that the "many" haven't taken to Corbyn the man, his many vile colleagues (Abbott?) or his mostly idiotic policies.
He's been a pretty big turn-off from day one and that ain't going to change in less than a month.

I am voting Labour. Some may see Jeremy Corbyn as weak, but this is just a lie perpetuated by the media (which is owned by the elite). Corbyn has shown resolve and determination throughout his leadership. Labour membership figures have gone through the roof since he became leader.

I would rather vote for the party that cares for the majority then that which cares mostly about the elite. Under the Tories, we will see the NHS eliminated and we will all be paying a fortune when requiring health care.

I will vote for the party that wants renationalisation, the NHS protected, employer rights protected, and the disabled looked after. We all have a social conscience and duty to provide for the vulnerable in society.

Hi there, can you say what exactly it is idiotic about his policies please?

Imo, the tories have been downright disgraceful in targeting the disabled. The whole ATOS thing comes to mind. That is idiotic.

Looks like a labour landslide then.
