Fives minutes on my own bike. Saving petrol money and no impact on the old environment. Gives me time to wake up a bit too.

25 mins to half an hour to the MC in my motor and top that off with another 10 mins depending on the traffic on the way home.

7 miles in 90 minutes ? :Applause you're wasted in RM mate, you should be in athletics.
I work about 7 miles from where I work. Takes about 40-45 minutes on London Underground if there aren't any delays. Can take only 35 minutes if the connections are quick. Going in I usually walk half way so the total journey takes about 90 minutes.

I've worked all over the country - never one day in the same palces. Some days London, others, yes, I've been in The Orkneys for a few days or Edinburgh or Swansea or Abderdeen for the day - up at 4.30am, home at gone midnight.

Grimmest place I ever went was Inverness, actually. About the only place they never sent me was Liverpool.

It's a 50 mile round trip for me, but it's Motorway almost all the way, so it isn't too bad.

How far do you live from your Office?

Post by Edward Hunter »

Personally live about 10 miles away, so a fair hike that can take up to an hour door to door if i have to use public transport. One fella in my office has just moved 80 MILES away thats 8 ZERO 80!   Beat that.
