Or sent to another office, then told to be the driver in an area you're not familiar with. Chaos! But the person I was working with was helpful and understanding :Very Happy

Although, I should probably say that the last time I was sent to another office was nearly a year ago now.

The whole 6 hour delivery thing was based on singleton van duties.

So does that mean they're gonna get rid of near enough half the duties there currently are, or that ALL duties are gonna end up as 6 hours?

It opens up a whole load of cr*p if you're a reserve and do your driving. You have to sign specials out, keys/log book out and fill it in, do the collections and organize delivery of specials etc. Then you get moved if a driver goes sick and his partner doesn't drive, usually a bad round you don't know and the walker's slow as hell.

A walker gets chauffeured, dropped off and retrieved. Some get dropped off at home when finished and muggins here has to take the packets pack, park up and fill the returns book in etc.

Trust me, you're better-off being a walker - far less responsibility for your bucks. :no no
