No i dont know how its affecting him was just trying to help ease his pay worries. Also if it is severely affecting him then the timescales for him being on the waiting list are terrible and perhaps should get a second opnion or insist, that its affecting his home life and ability to work and insist on the operation being done asap. Its also a long recovery post op. I wish him a speedy recovery but know that its slow once youv'e had the operation

If anyones interested, I had an update from my workmate today. He had a call from area rep, it seems that his AOD hasn't been reported correctly, as it should have been reported as a RIDDOR and the area safety rep informed, area also told him his pay should remain at full until 12 months not the 6 months his manager told him.

So someones going to get a bollocking it would seem
