It's based on contracted hours only.
Hahaha, I hope thats true. Our DIM has been saying it's based on hours worked since the revision went live, so his favorites have been given hours and hours overtime to bump their payment up (so he's told them). Now the payment is here I hope they see that he's just a tw@t like all the other managers and has been conning them :Applause
All PT staff in my office got pro rata. Even though most do 50hrs plus every week.
If they are on temp FT and their pay is full, i.e. they don't book time up to FT hours but actually are on FT basic pay, then they are entitled to the full sum.
He may have told them that to get them to work to make sure all workload gets covered.
One of the more knowledgeable people on here may provide a definitive answer soon.
Sometimes, I wish I wasn't a Rep.

Your "pro rata" payment should be based on the hours you work in the weeks (6?) preceding the implementation of the revision.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

i thought it should be the average throughout the year worked.... so on average if say 25hr contract worked 8 hours a week all year on average he should get 33 hours lump sum, however gremlin is right, u just get it pro rata no matter what hours you work
