I'm surprised you need music to make the day go faster, that's normally only a problem in jobs where you're sat around clock watching cos there isn't enough work to fill the working day.... that certainly doesn't apply to our job!

we have a deaf person in our DO so whats the deal with having music on whilst doing your round. I think its just bullying and harassment by DOMS again

Crossover thrash and Hardcore punk always helps me get round the streets a bit quicker. I always find myself more alert crossing roads with earphones in, i certainly look around more, you don't need to hear a car to see its coming, what about hybrid and electric cars you get now a days they hardly make any noise

I have a partially deaf colleague who wears hearing aids, he sometimes uses it to his advantage.....
The point was made that if you were to have an accident whilst listening to music, a manager would use this fact to lay the blame on you.

I used to listen to Mike Parry on talksport which was hilarious. But since he left i listen to some oasis or my thoughts which never seem to switch off.
