Says it all mate. It's beyond belief that a Labour govt is letting two mercenaries have a chance to add "Union Breaker" to their C.V.'s (on public money!!) to ensure they have even more lucrative employment once the UK postal service has died.jackdaw wrote:I had come to think I was a lifer with about 20 years to go but now I'm pretty sure I'll be gone before long. I've had trouble with my back a few times and am on the sick right now. Either Rm will force me out or I will have found a better job. I used to love this job and even after accepting that I had to do more work in the same time, and doing my best to finish every day, I have come to realise we are being run by money grabbing parasites who don't give a t*ss how many of us workers end up on the breadline. As long as Mr Leighton can make several millions in bonus he does'nt care how many of us have our lives ruined, same for Crozier.
I hope Gordon brown can sleep at night knowing that house repossesions are rising and it's his fault and also what is happening to RM could be prevented, the fact it is'nt is also this so called labour governments fault.
Mr Brown - please note with those two muppets in charge, what was once the World's best postal service bar none and the countries largest company pension scheme are about to go tits up on your watch. And a lot of your natural supporters are going to lose out. Deal with it or face the electoral consequences. In the 29 years I've been eligible to vote I've supported Labour in every national and local election. Sort this out fast Gordon or my political levy goes and my vote - and I won't be alone.
Where I am deliveries only get done by the goodwill of the staff being prepared to book extended delivery. Staff are now that fed up and exhausted, they are withdrawing that good will and seem keen not to bother working overtime at Christmas. It's not worth the effort. People would rather be on strike without pay than in work with pay such is the contempt the current managerial regime causes. Being consciencious is pointless.
Strike until we win.
