In Monday but off for the rest of the week
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Had 2 hours o/t booked for the Sunday night, but management have cancelled it. They obviously feel it's going to be a light Christmas Eve and don't need any extra.
Not like management to ever get it wrong.

Re: Who will be working on Xmas eve?
Its a normal day in our office, we were under the impression d2d and flats were suspended, WRONG. They were being sorted this afternoon. I also heard all the mail has been sent and we won't get any monday just parcels. I'll believe it when I see it. What time should I come in I ask? Remember my normal start time is 10:00 and I've just done a week of 05:00 15:00. "Come in at 05:00 just in case" think they know something their out telling us.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

You mean too say no one has communicated in your office your hours of work what a sad indictment of a communications company.! I would go in at a reasonable time and work your hours if I was you.egor110 wrote:Is monday normal hours or sat hours?
