I have said that 1980 (10p) and 1982 (12½p) Christmas stamps are valid, as are all stamps from 1971 onwards, these being in decimal currency (1p), not the old money (1d), but what I have NOT said is that post-1971 decimal stamps "will allways be valid"

Agree, there's a lot of 'self-reporting' on here, which will help the management out a lot. People do need to be careful what they write but quite often aren't!dave7634 wrote:They don't have to trawl Ebay as they're on HERE reading everything we all put and in some instances making their jobs even EASIERDGP1 wrote:You seriously think the managers aren't trawling ebay and wouldn't think twice about reporting them to their boss and the HMRCTheCobra wrote:Yep, but save for someone going out of their way to grass someone up, I don't think that HMRC have the time or funds to go chasing up people for £25 worth of stamps sold on eBay.clashcityrocker wrote:It has nothing to do with Royal Mail management bullying tactics and everything to do with HMRC.TheCobra wrote:We should be allowed to do what we want with them, some of you guys have really let the Royal Mail management bullying tactics get to you if you are afraid to sell some stamps on eBay.
The stamps are not for resale unless you want to pay tax on the resale value.

Sorry, grammar police alert but being pedantic it's "bear in mind" not "bare in mind".POSTMAN wrote:Bare in mind,we have had some of our colleagues SACKED because of innocent throw away comments on Facebook/Twitter/Here ect.
Bare in mind then the mindset of some of the management we have.
And last but not least, bare in mind it's 30 f***ing quid for a possible 60 f***ing quid or whatever the dole pays now for god knows how long.

Re: Stamps on E Bay
probably their date of birth in their username which gives it away as val from cleveland who is 56 years old. Still , there are collectors out there who like philately , good luck to her. As for managers, they have nothing to do between 9 and 2 except play with their pc's which are now no different than home pc's except they are hooked up to the intranet.
Why are lino's paid full-time ??

Yes, all British stamps denominated in the decimal version of UK sterling, and possibly the £1 value before 1971.mr ford wrote:so all stamps in the current currency are valid lizard
