Also not sure why Huddersfield is in there - office has not yet had a full delivery methods revision only a part one, and we know a full revision won't work as there is not enough room for the vans. Even then the revision they had planned was a table top one anyway very little planning.

Some cutting off going on, but no absorption and beyond a few minor incidents management have generally been okay with it. Would have been better going to Barnsley or Wakefield from what I have heard.

TBH TBT I don't think RM have a clue as to who has and hasn't had a full revision and are merely going on who has and hasn't been paid which isn't the same thing. The whole scheme has been a bust.

Remember these offices are selected on the basis of the new Royal Mail regions and cover all the major postcodes. I understand they are chosen on a range of reasons , poor quality , overspend , customer complaints , poor sick levels , poor employee survey results.

For the record Livingston , Wigan , St Helen's , Dudley, Cambridge , Basildon , Orton , Brighton , St Albans , Harpenden , Orpington and Postmouth are on your list of failing revisons.

Your list was hardly a result of independent factual information , all you needed was to post that an office was failing.

My understanding is that these managers have to report to Mark Higson the issues who then has to report to Moya. These are proper PIRs with full involvement of the CWU. The DSMs and Delivery Directors are not happy especially with the Price Waterhouse people also going into the offices.

Most of you will of course doubt the reviews , however most of you have been saying something needs to change and if theses first stage of reviews are successful then it will be rolled out elsewhere.

Do we trust these independent managers to report to Mark Higson...who are they exactly,how independent can they be and how long are they going to be in each office given the fact there are 57 to visit and the clock is ticking?
Do we trust Mark Higson to report to Moya...it's his disaster of a plan after all?

Do we want a Royal Mail fabricated "solution" to the failed delivery revisions,made to look good in a few offices and then dispersed with no follow up?
I think we rather hoped the union would be involved in some role other than just conveying Royal Mail's plans to the membership.

Anyway after a fairly lengthy conversation and much sage nodding and writing down and a promise to get back with solutions to the problems - I'd like to say that it bore fruit and we were succesful in producing solutions but to date nobody ever got back.

Just as a matter of interest dingo - who chose the offices? -Royal Mail? or was it a Joint decision?

I'd like to see it,it certainly isn't just the 57 Royal Mail have decided to have a poke at,even they will admit to at least double that which means in all reality we could probably double that again.
