If i offered you £5,400 for your car but only gave you £2,700 because i had decided myself to change the way i valued your car would you feel happy or would you feel as if you had been cheated?
There is no positive spin to this,unless you believe an employer should be able to do exactly what it fancies and we should all just sit there like smiling idiots happy to receive what crumbs the boss decides to throw our way.
