It would depend on how far away the mail centre is :hmmmm

If its quite a distance away, the sensible option would have been to either leave it locked in the van on premises or leave it inside the Meter box if there is one outside the office, this is what we do if we come back late with dead mail and P739s and the Office is closed, we drop it in the meter box for it to be picked up on Monday morning.

This is the reason i stopped doing OT on saturdays. I could never get a good response from the lino on what to do with mail in this situation.
I can remember one manager offering me 3 hours to do 1 row of mail on a saturday, they're so desperate to avoid any physical work themselves.

I do worry about you lot
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
