The response from Pete Ashford who is RM's head of Delivery Design and is the senior manager who would sanction the inclusion of extra workload is that staff should take any welfare break as part of their meal relief whilst out on delivery.
I'll accept that but only if everybody does it too, that includes all management grades............not too sure how that would work out with the amount of coffee they drink though :nervous

Forgot to add in my last post on this thread.

Any breach of health and safety legislation in relation to new and expectant mothers is considered automatic sex discrimination. There is no length of service qualification and the Act gives protective rights to a broad range of workers including the self-employed, agency workers, apprentices, and voluntary workers, depending on the nature of their contract.
