We had the thick BB Ace catalogues in yesterday, manager tried saying we only had 2 days as they should have come in Monday. When we'd stopped laughing we pointed out the fact that BB items are a week delivery span and it's not our problem they came in late.

He went to see the DOM and the rep and came back saying we have until next Tuesday. To which someone replied 'yeah we know'

You don't have to do it that way,you are choosing to.
Make sure the bags are manageable and within the weight matrix,what happens after that is down to RM.

You don't have 2days or 3days or 7days you have capacity.
Weigh your bags,stick to the bag weight matrix and if it takes a month.....it takes a month.
I took so long one Christmas they gave up and paid someone O/T to take them all out in a van.He was happy,i was happy....win/win.

Are we expected to take these out in pouches?
No. All RM Heavyweight items above 1kg will be delivered by vans. In some instances it may be operationally feasible to use High Capacity Trolleys for low volumes.

Interestingly we had some this week and the DOM said 2 days,we didn't have a lot of them so i did not argue the point.

If I'd been told I had two days to deliver forty (the day after I got another ten, so fifty in all) of those catalogues I'd have gone mad. Literally mad as well.

so 50 in 2 days, say 5 bags a day , thats 5 per bag per day, for 2 days. They werent bricks you know
