You deliver to point A,take the mail out of the back for point B,deliver to point B take the mail out of the back for point C etc.
That way at NO point are you leaving any mail unattended in the front of the van.
That's my take on Ordinary mail for immediate delivery anyway.
Certainly not bundles of mail in a bread tray on the front seat.
