This is great, its like a soap opera before our very eyes.
Cant wait for the next installment.
I work next to a Peter every day but in Newcastle, he's single, 40, and Im sure he'll accomodate you if you dont find your Peter.

Dont give up not at least till you've had a chance to speak to him again. Ignore the dodgy comments as you can tell it gets a bit mad on here.
True story: I was on my walk Delivering to a parade of shops and saw an old friend whom I fancied years ago but never had the courage to ask out. She was going into a bank and although I wanted to speak to her I could not find the courage (again
As I passed the bank she was in the front of the queue and left everthing and just came running out to see me
That was 7 years ago and we now live together with her 2 kids and ive never been happier. So don’t be bashful about leaving a note at his delivery office. You can leave it at the inquiry counter with your phone number and see what happens. Why leave it all to chance.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: searching for peter can u help me?
Did you try asking The Courier to put a small article in, to try to track him down?
I didn't see anything in the current issue, but you might have missed the deadline. Courier has a bigger readership than we do, so you've a better chance with them.
Good luck. I hope you find him.

Re: searching for peter can u help me?
Hey Jimmy Carr, maybe i do sound desperate to you , truthis im not short of male attention, most of which im not interested in, every now and again in life you meet someone who you think is really special and you cant stop thinking about them, thats how im feeling now, and because i dont go out giving my number to everyman i might meet up with because the next morning you usually regret it, i didnt give it to Peter and now im regretting that. He still hasnt been in touch which either means he s not interested or his mate hasnt passed it on,my friends felt he wouldnt pass it on cause he was jealous as he fancied his chances with me, if peter isnt interested he was a very good actor thats all i can say, anyway think its time to move on and try and get him out my head and maybe one day i ll just bump into him again,THANKS EVERYONEespecially Krussel and lounge lizard you seem really nice guys your wives are lucky to have you both take care xx

Tilly. Don't forget my earlier advice that Peter, like all other Royal Mail employees, will recive the 'Courier' newspaper every month, so contact them at courier@royalmail.com or First Floor, 35-50 Rathbone Place, London, W1T 1HQ and the chances are that if you do so without delay you'll be in time for the July edition and all will be well soon.Tillyboo08 wrote:Hey Jimmy Carr, maybe i do sound desperate to you , truthis im not short of male attention, most of which im not interested in, every now and again in life you meet someone who you think is really special and you cant stop thinking about them, thats how im feeling now, and because i dont go out giving my number to everyman i might meet up with because the next morning you usually regret it, i didnt give it to Peter and now im regretting that. You remind me that a long time a woman briefly met me in a pub, went a few days later to a pub where she thought I might be but I wasn't, then didn't give up and tracked me down at a party another few days later - that was twenty years ago and she hasn't looked back.
If you don't meet Peter again you had best just make the most of living in a city that has more to offer than many others.
Good luck.

No worries Tillyboo and thanks for the kind wordsTillyboo08 wrote:THANKS EVERYONEespecially Krussel and lounge lizard you seem really nice guys your wives are lucky to have you both take care xx
I agree with lounge and still recon you should give Peter one last shot before you totally give up. The phone number with the mate sounds dodgy if he had his eye on you as well as it would take a real gent to pass it on
If it was me i would still write a brief note with my mobile number and take a big gulp of pride and go to the inquiry office (where you pick up parcels) and get them to hand it to him. You would be in and out in less than 5 mins and that would give you the best chance of him getting it.
Either way i wish you the very best in finding Mr right and as you sound a such a genuine person i am sure your not going to be single for very long anyway. If you ever do get it together with Peter please pop back and let us all know.
Take care
