My D.O is to have and I quote a "self enabled" revison and the type is DBP (Delivery Best Practice) for year 1 and 2.

Year 1 is the trigger for the £200 and will do the DTD into workload/no pre determined delivery span stuff

Year 2 I imagine will take into account any increase into whatever the regular amount of DTD contracts are for any given delivery duty since the year 1 revision along with the non stop housing growth. It also means we can take into account any further changes to mail profiles for any given delivery duty since year 1.
Are you telling me that revisions in all of the D.O.s in your division are pre-planned for the next 3 years?
What happened to C.W.U. involvement?...What happened to local involvement?
Will the first revision use the new performance standards, iwt and georoute as parameters?

CWU are involved in the actual revsions, no revision will take place untill the workshops have taken place and all the stuff HQ are working on is finished.

My document is RML planned/expected schedule for revision activty, activty that will take place within the forthcoming agreed paramaters.

I doubt very much my mbrs will grumble that delivery methods is looking like year 3 and no longer year 1.

There are a number of offices that are not planned to have a WS revision across the division of which 5 are within my branch area. It is suspected that they are being considered for closure. How they get their £800 is something Im told being worked on by the powers that be.

Well i can see your point Daz but if their delivery span is increased and their D2D does reach 5 they may wish for those new delivery methods especially if it does turn out that using a golf trolley combined with park&loop means less actual delivery points.
Not that i'm holding out much hope for that particular fairytale. :chuckle

SHOW ME THE MONEY!

Our office must be up there with the top on modernisation. We've got CDV's long up and running, machines have arrived and in the office. New uniform ordered, PDA's being used.
Any other offices as far down the modernisation road?

We still use brown bags and tie up with string :left:
Thats modern - We still get inspected at the start of work to make sure our Top Hat and short tails are as per regulations. <tugs forelock and moves away from Manager>

Think we are well off with savings. All we seem to get is people working their contractual hours because quite a few deliveries are still 4.5hrs - 5hrs long
