Never mind door to doors what about the fake lump sums ,Hasn't anyone noticed we are actually paying for it ourselves . The cwu in their wisdom have decided for us that they dont like lump sums and bonus payments ,and want it integrating into your weekly wage . So the share certificate you have isn't worth the paper its printed on because its actually funding the £1000 you get for "all the new ways of working" The £400 for agreeing the deal is the money you would have got for Royal Mail making a profit .
So I've decided to give myself a £3.01 payrise each week thanks a lot Cwu .

The buy back of shares will still take place in 2011 and 2012
The £1000 is in replacement of the third allocation of shares, there is no guarantee that would be worth that much at buy back.

Allocations 1 and 2 combined only just go over a £1000 in value, only time will tell if £1000 is a better deal.
