D2D into workload means exactly that.
You do not get paid anything extra to deliver them.
What you have is an HOURLY supplement for the delivery of D2D that is why it is pro-rata.
It just so happens that most part-timers work involves the delivery side so they will be delivering the D2D included in their workload.
BTW i am no fan of this i think it is shocking but not illegal.
I'm still having difficulty understanding this concept. Please try to explain this for me.
What does a F.T O.P.G do with the D.2.D that a P.T doesn't? The way I see it is if they BOTH throw them in, they BOTH carry em and they BOTH deliver them then they BOTH get paid exactly the same for them. Where's the legal grey area which somehow makes this non discriminatory?
dont u get it? we are not going to paid to do D2D anymore nor newspapers.. everyones getting this £20 or £10 if part time..
soudns bad but guys in mail sort driver opg... are making a gain therefore getting a YES.
its disgusting but thats what there doing to us.
just vote no
one day part timers will have the same right as full timers

But if you prepare and deliver your 642 Door To Doors within your normal working hours why should you be paid any more than any of your colleagues ?
Are you fishing LL
No, just seeking out the answer for such a question that you would give to someone unfmiliar with our wierd pay structure.

DGP1, So what would your answer be to the question "But if you prepare and deliver your 642 Door To Doors within your normal working hours why should you be paid any more than any of your colleagues ?"

Part-timers are still doing full-time walks but missing the inhouse work. If its pro-rata does this mean on walks a part-timer will only need to 75% d2dS. I'm pretty sure they is a act that discrimates against part-timers doing the same job for only pro-rata d2ds. I'm a full-time employee.
Yeah I'm thinking it may be illegal too. Made a new post about it. Possibly breaching the Equal Pay Act. The reason it's Pro-rata is something called 'delivery supplement' or something which is just more red tape cr*p to shaft us part-timers again.
If somehow it goes through I'm going to bring a case to a Tribunal.
'' Well basically your honour I prepare and deliver 4200 D2D items per week. My Full time colleagues prepare and deliver 4200 D2D items per week. They get £20 a week and I get £10''.
