You're lucky to have a bag! Did loads of bulk deliveries, then searched for the bags that are "normally" kept in the back of the van.
Nothing, nada, zip, zilch. Caught up with 3 posties, Parcel Force van, post offices, and even tried a Charity shop to buy a shoulder bag! No luck...
Would have wasted too much time to drive back to base and fetch one.
Never mind, it wasn't too heavy so coped with the houses no probs.
Adapt, overcome, kill the enemy! Oh, that's the SAS then.

I actually like my RM bag, it is quite comfortable to carry, and is about the right size for what I need. I agree that it should be waterproof, but that is about the only problem I have had so far.

Well well well, after saying this, one of the straps broke today! Just my luck!

To be honest, the current pouches hold a hell of a lot, you'd be hard pressed to find a rucksack that can carry as much and offer easy accessibility to the bundles and packets inside. The only improvements I can think of to them that I would like are:

1. More pockets at the front for packets. In effect the pouches need to be slightly fatter to accommodate the new pockets.

2. Thicker material with stronger stitching to prevent the bags ripping.

3. Better more durable padding in the straps, I have 1 pouch which has a strap that's spot on and remains padded and comfy after a year while the others their straps are pressed flat now and dig in a bit.

4. Maybe some sort of zip pocket on the flap for putting spare p739s in, customer service cards and sorry I put the wrong mail through your door cards would be good.

5. A water bottle pocket on the side would be awesome.

I've never had a problem with the bags, apart from them not being waterproof, and not lasting very long. However, I've just got a new style bag, very similar, but with white stripe instead of yellow. Filled it up, extended the straps, pulled it over my head...and the bloody thing is under my armpit! No chance of getting a bundle out. The straps are far too short!
