Seems like Royal Mail are running two different companies.Them that shout get a bit and them that dont get f..k all. Meanwhile no doubt if you have the name manager in your title you work for the third company which presumably is the holding company. It holds all the f....king savings we have made for them and distributes it to those that do f...k all.

Re: do all offices get a monthly bonus?
That is what London Weighting is supposed to cover ( ha! ) - but the house prices don't revert to jack all when you cross a boundry, for example: Swanley DO ( my local office ) gets London Weighting, and house prices range from £147K to £250k check here, Sevenoaks DO ( which covers West Kingsdown about 3 miles from Swanley DO ) gets NO London Weighting and W. Kingsdown prices vary between £140k & £500k check here - I know you have to stop payments somewhere, but Swanley, like West Kingsdown, is controlled by Sevenoaks District Council - the only difference I can see is one is inside the M25 & one is outside. In Our Office we have to pay the Dom for the pleasure of working for RM.
Please could someone explain what a bonus is ,dont understand that word.
We get £100 at Xmas with strings attached.
How do I get a transfer to a London office, heard its a easy life in London.

Nonsense, that is just a rumour spread by the Northerners because they don't get London loading allowance, PBS, 4 day weeks and a special agreement.Puppetmaster wrote:In Our Office we have to pay the Dom for the pleasure of working for RM.

Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down IPS, and pay the DOM for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us, and dance about on our graves singing "Hallelujah."
