If he won't give you a grievance form - print this one off and shove it ----- on his desk.

i'm shocked so many of you have been suffering this for years, i've only just got into grief with management recently and its really getting me down. its disgusting that just because its the 'done thing' for so long its accepted and shrugged off. i've heard of colleagues just keeping their heads down because they don't want to suffer the flak. these managers think they're a bit above everyone else and they're not fit to polish our boots :evil/mad

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Been the victim of it when I first came onto deliveries, wasn't trained properly, told I was too slow on a walk (which was tested a few years before by RM and the Union and agreed to be too big) and told that cutting off was wilful delay of the mail. I'm lucky tho that I have a snarling pitbull of a father working deliveries in the same office and an equally nasty older brother :dance. I also joined the union, our rep is awesome and doesn't take s**t from management.

yip but you always run the risk of getting the heat turned up on yourself, they dont like grievances getting put in,so they turn there attention onto you
