hi guys, ive just completed my first 6 weeks, and the sores have gone, thank christ.
just joined that simplyhealth crowd this week, are they any good?

was just wondering if there was many other posties out there on a 6 hour contract like me? can i get that moved to more hours or what, cos at the minute im only getting 25- 30 hours a week, and would like more as im hopefully goin for a mortgage in the new year. Or can i do anything until my 6 month trial period is up? :cuppa

Those of us on 40hrs are worried about getting moved down. The only way you will get more hous is if you can drive
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

As above they way forward is to become a driver (sorry i am assuming you drive) once you can drive a RM van the options of duties which you can cover increases and there is more chance of getting full time. Also and more important will be overtime such as packets which in our place can get you on ave 6-8 hours a week fairly easy docket. At the moment its "open docket" so any driver can do 1 hr to any thing really if they dont ever want to go home :left: . Not many takers on the snow though :Very Happy .

See your DOM and ask if you can take the RM driving change over in the new year. best of luck :Applause
