Ha ha no im not the rep.
And I have had to chuckle at what youve been told. The rep does manage a team, under 10s , so unless RM have started employing kids then no, no mate of his!!
. We had a few issues with challenging people. 1 Cops showed up a few times, we did stop people, not all , most were snook in a side entrance from a factory which we knew nothing of ( IB access , afaik ? ) several people turned around and supported us. Lorry drivers didnt cross the picket and mangers came to the picket to unload, one guy tried to run us over as we tried to reason with him.
Basically management were just being arseholes. But we were jolly, had lots of banners, placards up etc, bbq, the obligatory barrel and decent public support, we even made the papers as we set the tarmac alight with said barrel. Far from pathetic, it did get tastier though when some guys from PB turned up to " lend a hand" and show us the way!
hope this clears it up for you. we are sick of being bullied and intimidated by managers, having our docket refused etc. So grivances are going in and we are cutting off. Simple No pay , no work. They can threaten us with letters all they like.
and for the record MAIL IS NOT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND as for the brainwave, no thats never been mentioned, we will cut off, we will not work for free nor go sick, ive just spok to him on the phone and he is gobsmacked! One guy was refused his 30 mins on monday OT so simply strolled in 30 mins late today. Lol simple, but from now on no working past time
