RM and cwu at local levels are covering up failures
1st class letters being failed daily
Throwing overtime at it early morning to try and get us out on delivery asap
Breaks not being taken at all now
Staff leaving and workload being shoved onto remain staff
D2ds now worse than before rollout of DM26
Lying in frsmes for 3 weeks
i was day off yesterday. The cover was told to take a whole frame of mail/D2Ds out extra even after him saying there is no chance it could be delivered. I spent 90 minutes today throwing the bundles back in the frame before i could start prepping todays mail

Xmas pressure and dm26 will have to change back to the way it was for it to kinda work
DM26 will be running right through Xmas Pressure.
It's going back to 4 people in a pod over Xmas.
The mech will still come through as heavy and light days. Sometimes on the "heavy" days, a few walks have had 4 trays.

We wouldn't have enough staff.
We wouldn't have enough PDAs.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I can easily believe there wouldn't be enough staff. But surely you still have all your pre-DM 26 PDAs?

I would have thought that all their PDAs would have had a software update to make them DM26 compatible.

Where does this leave the big back slapping Industrial relations reset party from a few days ago then?
Looks even more of a bloated waste of time now doesn’t it?!
Absolute joke meeting

What would a DM26 software update entail? Time machine?

I don't doubt it. I merely meant that if they had, say, 80 PDAs pre DM26, they'd still have that number. I can't believe that have a terribly high second-hand value.

It'd be sent down to them overnight, whilst they are in the cradle.

I've heard of them costing £800 each when new, no idea if that's true.

Locally there's only 2 or 3 DOs left to go over to DM26, I reckon that they will have gone over by the end of October.

Doesn't effect 4 people in a pod.

But what different software do you need for DM26?
