They've got it the wrong way round, they are putting duties in so that you can take part of another duty, how about making duties bigger, 8 loops then the van pairings can just do their own walks instead of having to travel to walk 3 and 4.

The problem is, that's exactly what's happening.
4 loops of 2/3 days mail and 4 loops of 1st and tracked. Split over 2 areas is more than the current workload.

Our office in the last revision had 8 loops per walk planned on the shared van duties, not 6. So it's going to be 'challenging' to follow the proposed model.
