With 2 in 6 the day off covers are full time, where as the 2 in 5 that are part time.
In my office we can only realistically choose one option as the good ones don't fit our late start times.

Can anyone explain why 2 in 6 is better then 2 in 5 for full time jobs?.

Here's the two scenarios for info, looks like on the 2 in 6 the cover person is spare every Saturday whatever that's supposed to mean apart from the obvious, so you could end up on anything although presumably you'd only be delivering parcels+1c.

Looks like on the 2 in 5 despite it being part time the cover duty attendance is over 4 days Mon,Tues,Thurs, Fri so every weds and sat off, 4 x 7hrs50 days so 31hrs 20 per week which might be attractive for some.
