However, if you always do what your boss says as he is always right then I guess yes it will go. :Very Happy :Very Happy
tbt your the who who put up the link did you read it?

mail sort has three types and only mail sort 3 is to be left

1 and 2 aslo have a big frikin m on them

it says walk sort mail sort is either 1 or 2 and therefore must go

mail sort in residue can stay
Mailsort 1 has a 1 in the corner
Mailsort 2 has a 2 in the corner
Mailsort 3 has a M in the corner

Anything with a M in the corner does not have to go out on a Saturday.

Because people don't want to see 3rd class mail, at least with an M they don't know

Just a quick question - What is the difference between M and BB?

M : Mailsort 3
BB : Big Book Mailing

Big Book, is for large batches , of large Catalogues or similar Mail (hence the name), and must be booked in advance. http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/prin ... d=54700703

Thanks for that because we can get the same catalogues with both BB and M on the same day

You'll find they stick the m on bb mailings so they can try to tell you it's got to go all on the same day instead of streaming them because of the weight ... the nice dim's and dum's will try anything when they come accros these postings......... beware !!!!

Mailsort User Guide

How do you show that the postage has been paid?

Every mail item needs to show clearly that postage has been paid and is correct for the service required.
There are a number of different methods you can use to do this.

Printed Postage Impression (PPI)

The PPI mark is widely used by customers across a range of postal services and is issued under licence
from Royal Mail.

All items in a single mailing must carry the same PPI licence number.

It’s a convenient and practical way to indicate both service and the method of payment.
For Mailsort,Presstream and Walksort 1 and 2, the standard First and Second Class PPIs are used.

For Mailsort 3, a special PPI design using the letter M should be used – details are available from your account manager or
our website at www.royalmail.com/ppi

Now what I need, apart from leghtion and crozier living on the streets, is pictural ref of (I have no idea what you call it, so forgive me) the payment symple on the right hand corner which tells us whether or not which mailsort is which.
