It would depend on your age and length of service.Carew wrote:If there is a EVR / VR package on offer, how much would people get roughly. Just asking.
Voluntary Redundancy: If you are under 50 or over 60 you get a minimum of 26 weeks pay if you have been employed for over 2 years. After 8 years service you get 3 weeks pay for each additional year of service. After 10 years service you get 4 weeks pay for every additional year of service. And you get an additional 2 weeks pay for
every year over the age of 40. The maximum payable is 104 weeks pay.
Early Voluntary Retirement (supposedly payable between 50-60): the amount payable would depend on whether you are a Class A or Class B scheme member, and your length of service and pensionable pay, enhanced by up to 6.66 years. I think you also get an EVR payment of 26 weeks pay.

A full week is actually classed as 7 days because they count Sundays plus any bank/public holidays.mitzi wrote:our local mailcentre has all mon-fri duties so if a MC worker has a full week off sick it is classed as 5 days, whereas in a Delivery office because the day off maybe in the middle of the working week it is classed as a sick day hence a full week off sick is classed as 6days.
is this fair?
