DID MINE AND 1 ON DOCKET,NO ACTION AT OUR PLACE YET I WOULD LIKE TO ADD,DOCKET MUST HAVE BEEN THROWN OFF AND BUNDLED BY A BLOKE IN A BLIDFOLD WHICH WILL COME IN HANDY AS I AM GOING TO PUT HIM AGAINST A WALL AND SHOOT THE USELESS TWIT FIRST THING IN THE MORNING
SO TO SUM IT ALL UP A CRAP DAY ALL ROUND AND IT STARTED TO RAIN AS I GOT OUT THE DOOR AND IT AINT STOPPED YET,ONCE AGAIN I THANK YOU OH GOD OF RAIN AND MAILSORT AND BT BILLS FOR THE GIFTS YOU HAVE SHOWERED ON ME TODAY

Last week the office union rep told us that we would be balloted for local industrial action (over exec action) on the 15th. No ballot papers have turned up. Then, earlier this week we were told there would be a meeting today with Union full timers coming down. Guess what? No show. Asked the office rep what was going on about this meeting, his reply "Oh, don't talk to me about that!"

Then got a copy of the branch newsletter dated 10th May, followed by an update for the 15th (all about how much RM senior managers earn). These did not mention RM's position of D2D's which is supposed to have changed. This is the communication workers union!

As for the job, worse than it looked today. Thought I'd get done on time -- didn't.

what a day i had today i started at half 8 so i went in and my manager asked me if i wanted to go to another area and deliver so i says ok get a run there it was an area i didnt know that well anyway got in to the depot for the the other area and there was a guy arrangeing the run for me which was fiar enough after it had ben sorted they left me to tie up the mail this is when they told me that yesterday this area hadnt been deliverd to so i had 2 days mail to do i managed to get it all tied together i manged to get about 8 bundles in to my bag and i couldnt fit anything else in but i still had another 3 pils which i couldnt fit in so they told me to leave them got about 8 piles in each of my drop off bags and was left with around 5 - 6 piles still there so they said for me to leave the piles i couldnt fit in. went to get the key for the drop boxs and it wasnt to be found anywhere so i had to leave one bag in a school and 2 bags in a post office so i had to doube back and collect the other bag i finally got started delivering at half 12 never got finished till around 6pm when some about 16 or 17 drunk tried to pick a fight with me.anyone else had a similar day?

that sounds like a good day. i would rather be challanged by a 16/17 drunk than be in our office with a manager recently busted back to a postie cos of his drunkeness. no joke he has just been banned from driving for 16 months. life here was hell. strange that he kept his job considering he fails to turn up at all some days. give me the drunk in the street!!!

apprently the other area is 100 odd man hurs short of staff i certainly wont be volunteering to go there again

join the union M8. cos if RM get there way they will try to distribute staff to offices where staff are sick and off. if there office is overstaffed. not that this ever happens. but if they can get a bloke to volunteer overtime in your office they will send you else where. This is why we must put an X where it counts. let's stop the management morons in their tracks

Always Always K1d say sure I'll go there but I have to be finished by so and so as I have this thing at such and such a time. Then leave it to them to make the decision. If you want the docket the do it but don't feel pressurised to do it just cos your new.
