Most of the managers in our area are out on walks at another office most of the time. Same office...
Our line manager, whilst being a bit of a knob, does put the hours in.

To be honest the best way to discribe today was "HELL"
Council tax, sky mags, Sky talk/broadband mailings, empire shopping brochures oh and to top it off housing association mailings. Had a 99.8% call rate and the heaviest bags i've had for ages, cut off by not doing any my parcels but still did a hours OT, and my DOM had the nerve to tell me again mail volumes are falling (I tell you if I hear than one more time this week I'll scream).

Not to bad today mail wise, the weather on the other hand was terrible, freezing cold wind, my face now looks the colour of my royal mail t-shirt lol.

Very heavy, loads of magazines etc. Got out a bit earlier and finished earlier than yesterday. Wiped out again at the end.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Very heavy day yesterday
on a killer walk with loads of steep hills and flights of steps all over the shop.
Got back to DO, pouched off, then straight over to pub across rd, 30 mins later and a pint of carling, dbl vodka & red bull, and a bottle of corona ( was running out of ££
) i felt a whole lot better.... but your job shouldnt drive you to drink, should it ?

Busy, for a shorter day (7 hours) . Plenty of flats. Pouched a couple of recorded item off. Sun was out and it was dry.
