Probably baby formula, was the recipient Chinese by any chance? I know a lot of Chinese people living here buy baby formula in bulk and resell it in China for a profit because of the scandal a few years ago.

No more will MCs automatically take the blame when a parcel goes missing. The new packet scanning system in MCs went live this week. Now when a packet york/sleeve arrives in a DO, all items that were scanned to that york/sleeve are automatically deemed to have arrived at the DO

Last Christmas reminded me of ISP oversubscription: company installs network infrastructure in the street that can handle 500 residential connections but sells access to 1000. Everyone's service suffers while the company counts easy money.
The machine stops.

I've seen this mentioned a few times on here with nothing to back it up - SISO linked to pay.
I don't think the company are brave enough to open that can of worms, or they would have well before now.

Nationally or just in your office?

Does the sign out system automatically cover overtime? so you sign out 3 minutes late you get paid for those 3 minutes?

to be honest, I think a system like this should probably have 5 minutes of leeway both ways where you don't get deducted pay and don't get overtime 5 mins prior to and 5 mins after finish time. Too many people will just linger for a few minutes just to get 3 mins each day to get their pay up for the week - a little bit of pocket money....or more so, at the end of the day people often chill and chat so will be picking up overtime for doing so if they slip out the door late because of it.
