I assume the press are onto this fiasco, but somehow have more knowledge about the precise timing went to 'break the news' i.e. christmas. Or maybe there are other motives at work for not relating how bad this whole thing is.
An idea of the true scale is that this list is only the tip of the iceberg.
By all accounts the vast majority of fully integrated revisions involving IWT,WSM and Delivery Methods are failing to some extent.
Some will bed in eventually with some adjustments...others are a mess and will have to be taken apart.
Other offices that have concentrated on table top revisions and indoor hours will have faired better....but their day is still to come.
I would imagine if you had the full list of offices that are running over budget or failing quality due to this "modernisation" it wouldn't leave many out of those that had been through the revision process.
It's worse...much worse than it looks here.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Trouble with budgets is that can be set at below the AWD level. My D.O suffers from this. But untill such time as RML give us a planner there isnt much the DOM can do with his budget. Absorbtion is being resisted by the DOM on practicality grounds. The DOM is of the belief that hours can be saved as and when a revison takes place although some hours will need to be redeployed against delivery point growth.

Thanks for that fishtank, I've being trying to workout how big this whole thing is nationally, posted my best effort to give it context. Not knowing the actual size of RM the Failing list looks terrible - each DO failing is terrible and each revised walk failing is a disgrace. But nationally without a context to the list - it's almost too big a mess to comprehend for a little urchin like me.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Stormproof wrote:Is your office failing with the new revision? PM me the office and Postcode (as most cities have more than 1 office)for anonymity and I'll put it on the list. Lets see how many are failing and have'nt hit the headlines yet. I don't want to put in the reports from the press just yet, rather it was from the horses mouth :cool

If your office is in the list and is not failing anymore then please let us know.
