Busy with plenty held back, including sky mags, for saturday. Spring catelogs (thick) are in also, hidden in boiler room.
Managers have been out, in cars, doing bits and pieces yesterday and today.

Enjoy a few days off guys

Nightmare day in our office, dums had let loads of people have the day off, then a load rang in sick so they said all the full time staff had 2 absorb another 4 rounds, even if our own round took us 2 our finish time they said we had 2 be flexible and work 30 mins extra, no union reps in 2 check if this is true or if the dums were just using bully boy tactics, anyway a lot of sad faces hoping 4 an early finish didnt get 1, happy christmas from royal mail eh!!!

An okay day - finished 10 minutes early - only three packets, two of which were letter box sized. Two and a half bags as opposed to the 8 - 10 bags of the last few weeks only spoilt by having a large call rate with one item per house. Lovely weather, cool and sunny - two late Christmas tips of a fiver each. DOM got us to hold back all mail sort three but take it to our frames when we had bagged up ready for Monday - WHICH LOOKS LIKE A SHITE DAY
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

you only have to be flexible if you can do it in your duty time, otherwise you can either claim ot or say no.
there is a document clarifying all this coming out in our area as we had the same sort of problem, i will post it when i get it.

Make sure you repeatedly tell your lineo that you feel he has guilted you into coming in, even though you feel as rough as*.....( *insert appropiate crude phrase here )

Got an "Early Bath" so to speak. The Dom had a few spare bods, (drivers etc with not enough to do), so a few had our walks culled so as we didn't go over.
Oh before I forget... Happy New Year! :chuckle
