With RoyalMailChat the thing that annoys me most is the posters who complain about other posters complaining. It's as though they don't realise a forum like this is exactly where they should be complaining.

Royal Mail delaying mail, delaying whole walks, making us go out and deliver 2 days worth of post. Whilst they are saving a fortune doing this, we are stressed and exhausted and have the whole threat of 'delay of mail' over our heads.

Everything at the moment , knowing we are in a big mess and intense christmas pressure is days away . Knowing this could all have been avoided if the workers were listened too and respected . Certain staff been looked after again in revisions , that sticks out a mile . The unions silence is very very strange .

When your an office reserve you know who is dragging it out and what can and cant be done. As for suitability. Flat short rounds automatically go to older staff (55+) or posties carrying an injury/disability. Anything else to those that have that have done the walk most often so can give a better customer service, rather than train someone on an easy job just because theyve been there 24hrs longer than another posty..

When your an office reserve you know who is dragging it out and what can and cant be done. As for suitability. Some colleagues start early , don't take breaks , don't use the mandatory equipment, run round, dump parcels in bins is that what you mean by better customer service.
Some colleagues are genuinely quicker than others doesn't mean the others are dragging it out though . Do you trust managers to decide who is "better" than others.

Why should someone who doesn't cut corners, work through breaks, come in early for for no pay, to drag 4 loops out and bring 2 back when that is all that time allows, be given the chance of a better job before me who has been here all of five minutes waah waah waah!

Seriously you're a stuck record, you could always take the advice of the screws and go find a better job. No?
