How long before people try it on and fob you off with parcels they havent paid to be collected in the hope you take it

Gonna be some run ins I think

I hope ''if its not on my scanner I cant take it'' doesnt become a line I need to ever say more than once
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

I haven’t had any training and I’ve had 3 parcels to collect so far. My PDA is not set up for them so I collect and send to DO with a covering note. They cannot be left at a Post Office according to the postmaster. Apparently nothing to do with Post Office Counters.

If they don't show on your PDA, how do you know to collect them then?

You only collect from jobs that are on the PDA. You know if you've got any as soon as you scan your route header, if non show up you haven't got any to do

For some reason some PDAs have not got the collections on them, in our office the manager will come and tell you if you have one, i expect you then have to get a PDA from someone who has got the collections on it.

Sounds like there are still PDAs out there that haven't had the latest update. RM bringing in something new without the correct resources or equipment available, who'd have expected that to happen!

Lino texted me earlier, feet up watching "A Place In The Sun" apparently I had a collection to collect today, nothing on my PDA? Ignored his text, I'm not on call.

PDAs not properly in the cradles when the update got sent out?
