Members can contact Martin directly, they don’t have to wait for him to go online

He'll be back on next time he's begging members to vote yes for the next s**t deal. DM28. 1 postie doing 4 walks, 2 percent pay rise. Save RM before it goes bankrupt.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑13 Sep 2026, 15:1310 days and 147 comments later I don't think he's going to reply![]()

Postman or other admin may be able to trace Martins other accounts using IP logs or other unique identifiers. There's probably accounts on here from CWU and RM offices. Which is fine, if you're reading DM26 isn't working, or maybe it is if further damage to mail delivery is intended.

I did administration on a forum way back in the golden age of the web. Dynamic IP assignment was an issue then and it's probably a thousand times worse now with everything behind routers and multiple mobile devices connecting to whichever SSID has the strongest signal from the retail park bench.funkflex55 wrote: ↑13 Sep 2026, 21:39Postman or other admin may be able to trace Martins other accounts using IP logs or other unique identifiers.

Some ISPs used to give you a different IP address for every page request!Mr Rush wrote: ↑13 Sep 2026, 23:21I did administration on a forum way back in the golden age of the web. Re: DM26 - Attention of Martin Walsh
In 4 months from now the next step to equalisation is due. What are the odds of Martin and Dave still being MIA at that point? What are the odds of the equalisation can being once again kicked down the road? I'll be astonished if anything happens towards equalisation in January as they've promised. They probably won't even emerge from their hidey holes to make the usual excuses about the company being skint.
On a separate note. Local reps who are best buddies with the managers and defending their bullying behaviour is a real issue I've encountered recently. Even one rep joining in with the sneering and bullying....i can't say more otherwise they will recognise themselves and therefore suss who i am. I'm at the end of my tether with this job now.

I have a bit of that going on. They need booting out as reps.

He doesn’t care. Like his superior Ward he’s scammed the membership initially during his election campaign and then during the last ballot for this Shambles of a pay/uso deal. Him and Ward are now in a position to skulk around in the shadows on abhorrent salaries for the next few years after which they will no doubt retire on fat pensions we could only dream of. The kind of damage done to our jobs and terms and conditions over the next few years with these two in charge will be devastating.
Sad times

I have a similar issue. Our rep speaks down to me and doesn't give me the correct information, so isn't much better than how managers act.Barnacle wrote: ↑14 Sep 2026, 05:33Jonathan Alsatian wrote: ↑14 Sep 2026, 00:06In 4 months from now the next step to equalisation is due. Some reps aren't reps because they want people to be treated fairly - they are reps because it gives them a power trip that they get off on. I'm sure these reps could quite happily be managers.
