How are RM so crap?
I mean, they’ve had a few decades to get the hang of payroll surely?
I only started in December last year so God knows what I’ll get...

Re: backpay is in
Only paid the overtime back to November. Fantastic. s**t deal agreed by the union and I haven’t even been paid the Bribe correctly. But I guess I should have known this was coming as I am part time scum and should know my place.

Re: backpay is in
I have a few arrears of OT from certain weeks, but I also have a bigger ' arrears of OT' amount.
Is that the rest of it to April 2020?
I suspect the 'other payments' are arrears of pension payments and other tax efficient savings you may make. But i could be wrong.

Re: backpay is in
Mine shows 3 different arrears of 8 hours sspr o/t, 1st 10 hours, then over 10 hours, for the last 3 weeks separately, plus a much larger amount above each.(I am assuming this is from April to the start of the first of the weeks listed separately as each one is 90ish quid).
20 quid other payments right at bottom.
The whole of the page right to the bottom is full up.
I've worked mine out from start of April and it looks about right tbh.
Would imagine it's all computerized so everyone's should be correct no?

Re: backpay is in
I believe the ‘other payments’ is the rest of your backdated overtime. You can see they ran out of room so just an educated guess, but I think that’s the rest of the OT all lumped in together.
It looks very confusing but it looks right - I simply took my total yearly pay to date from last weeks payslip, minus the bonus payments (COVID/Christmas) then multiplied by 0.027. That calculated figure then give or take £20 is the extra pay I’ve received.
I’ll keep my thoughts separate on if I agree or not with the deal but I have to say personally I’m pleased/surprised that I look to have been paid properly. It’s a real shame holiday pay can’t be sorted once and for all in a similar manner.

Re: backpay is in
It looks to me that the other payments at the very bottom should equal all other overtime arears minus your pension contribution and minus any other regular deductions you make. The breakdown of these will not fit on the payslip so have been lumped together.
A curious thing I have noticed is that the pensions contrib pay at the top has increased by nearly £70, possibly because certain payments of arears are pensionable

Hi,
I am a P/T. Apart from my Basic pay of 25 hours, there is Arrears of Basic pay which is approx £452 and Other payments around £259. I couldnt see my last week 12+ hours OT. Do you think this will be added to the next Salary?
Also many entries of very small amounts of payment no more than £3 as Weekday Sch Att and Weekday OT1 1st 10 hours.
Very confused.

Last week's overtime may not be in because payroll was closed over the weekend to allow for the back pay to be processed.postman2015 wrote: ↑24 Feb 2021, 19:48Hi,

Re: backpay is in
There are a lot of answers on the back pay in the FAQ section of the App.
Basically anything your manager hadn't put through by 5pm on Friday won't be paid until next week.

Re: backpay is in
Anyone knows why I’ve got other payment of £60 in negative. The other negative payments I have is purchase of Annual leave and arrears of annual leave which is okay but other payments off -60 quid makes no sense
