I bet all units have them,we call them the bosses minions,they simply get away with everything,which has an impact on the working morale within the office,nothing is ever perfect and wouldn’t moan just for the sake of it,just another aspect of working in a small efficient office with the same people week in and week out,that gives the boss little or no problems,and for that simply get shafted,

Depends on how much time and effort you want to put in to resolve it,because undoubtedly it will be a long drawn out affair,a real test of just how much you want it sorted out.they are keen to broadcast the policies at every level and procedures to follow,but usually boses haven’t a clue what they are and don’t want to get involved as they are somewhat embarrassed about things that go on.
