Best to give up now on ghosting, saves being disappointed later.
Nothing to do with ghosting , if i do a job i want to know what im getting before i take it on why should a fast postie get less money for the same work.
ps im not fast

We had some guy in at WTLL on Tuesday (two weeks in a row, what a run). Said nothing I hadn't already read on this very forum months ago.
The machine stops.

The plan once automated is to pay you for time worked, so the days of agreeing "a deal" for OT in theory would be over. However good luck with getting walks covered in the real world.

A lot of Posties never visit this site, or indeed bother to look at anything to do with job. Unfortunately these are the "Soft Targets" that RM Bullshit is aimed at. ;liar When a visiting manager tells them Mail Volumes are down and these changes are for the good of the Comapny they have no information to contradict them. They get a Sob Story Letter from Rico and believe it all

I think RMC is great for getting information out to those who look. :thumbup I'd encourage your friends to join, and educate themselves. This week I was chatting to a colleague that had been told The Long & Short Days meant if he finished early on one day he owed that time to RM! (i.e Banking Hours) I explained Banking Hour hadn't been agreed with the CWU, and convinced him to start booking his Pressure Overtime.... These sorts of things are explained on here ... :cuppa

I have a few minutes to spare. I'm honestly interested in what motivates people like you to come onto a Forum and just wind people up? :hmmmm IF you have something constructive to say lets hear it. It's highly unlikely that I'm going to end up unemployed, I may very well end up with a Crappier job ... with Crappier T&Cs, Pay, Pension, Meal Relief, Sick pay, Holiday Entitlement and work Conditions ... but that obviosly doesnt bother the likes of you ....... I've been there before and it didn't kill me.

I take it you're happy with your job? :cuppa

In true Royal Mail tradition the visit was cancelled and now maybe Monday, are we obliged to listen to his drivel? Do we have to?is it also aimed at the industrial action threat? I’ve already voted so he’s wasting his time there!

The one that visited ours said that we can't have a shorter working week because the savings aren't there, but then went on to trumpet a 3 year pay deal that had to be self financing. Go figure.
