Increase in holiday reference period from 12 weeks to 52 weeks
Implementation date: 6 April 2020
The Employment Rights (Employment Particulars and Paid Annual Leave) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 (SI 2018/1378) increase the reference period used for determining a week's pay when calculating holiday pay for workers with irregular hours from 12 weeks to 52 weeks. The Government's Good work plan states that the changes will allow greater flexibility for workers in choosing when to take holiday, particularly for those in seasonal or atypical roles that limit some workers from benefiting from their full holiday pay entitlement.

EDIT;

England and Wales

Due to the sheer volume of Employment Tribunals that have been lodged in England and Wales (it is estimated that the current number is around 2,000) a request was made by the Tribunal to extend the stay on these claims until 1st March 2020.

Unionline has confirmed that the next stage in the process will be a preliminary hearing at the Bristol Employment Tribunal in March or April 2020 to identify the lead claimants to act as a representative sample of all claimants who have lodged claims. A full merits hearing will then take place where the legal merits of the lead claimants’ cases will be tested. We have also been advised that if the lead claimants are successful with their claims, it will mean that Royal Mail Group are not acting in accordance with their legal obligations and will be liable for the losses of those workers who have lodged claims.

In advance of this hearing and to ensure that we have a robust process in place to progress through each stage, the DGS(P) Department has arranged a meeting with the Legal Services Department and Richard Lozano (Unionline) on 11th February 2020 to agree next steps.
i know a few who have successfully claimed some money last year after the cwu's only help was a rep to tell them how to fill in a standard grievance, why they couldn't flood the office with templates i don't know? not certain if the correct monies due came, that's their business
but i've a feeling they may compromise on average earnings starting from a date in 2020 when overtime is very low and will not include last few months of 2019

Incorrect I think.
It appears on the payslip as weekday sch att @ sspr (p)

The pay rate is the same but the SA is paid while on holiday.
Apologies if i am wrong hav'nt got any weekday sch att in a few years.

If you are doing a 38hr duty but only on a 35hr contract then the extra 3hrs should be paid as SA as you will be expected to do it every week and youR attendance with be prescheduled (SA) it’s in the agreement for 35hr contracts.

1.Is SA rate the same as SSPR?
2. If yes, why do they book it as SSPR ?

Any ideas?

What does the SSPR abbreviation stand for?
The views I express here are mine alone and do not represent the views of Royal Mail Group.

Yes - SSPR and SSPR (sch att) are about £12.80.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Off my payslip.
A part timer performing hours between their contracted hours and full time hours (both pressure overtime and SA overtime) are paid extra for the delivery supplement (and in my case another supplement which may make it about 50p/hour higher)
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
