Not quite sure what you are saying. RM are not going to have an official policy of posties having to work an hour unpaid if they are told to go to a different DO for operational reasons. The correct method is for the postie to start work at their usual DO at their duty start time and arrive back at their usual DO at or before the end of their duty time. One newer postie in our office likes doing this because all the other DOs in our area have much shorter walks with fewer loops.Danielson1974 wrote:This is wrong. Celgar is entirely right. Also Never use your own car. It's up to them to get you to whatever office they want to farm you out to.

locally a approach (which could include the use of volunteers and
reserves) to working in nearby offices within employees’ contracted
hours which will include travel times and appropriate travel and
subsistence arrangements.
